Diego Simeone Knows Who will replace Torres

Atletico Madrid's goal scoring machinery has been well oiled recently, with Diego Simeone's men finding the back of the net 10 times in their last four matches.

This rate of scoring has been helped in most part by the pair of Antoine Griezmann and Fernando Torres, with the duo chipping in with a combined seven of the aforementioned 10 goals.
However, Atletico cannot continue in the same vein on Wednesday, where El Nino has no option but to watch from the stands after being sent off in the first leg against Barcelona.

As a result, Simeone has a selection dilemma, as he has to find a replacement for a Torres who has been in his best form for a long while.

However, the he Uruguay international has hailed the Colchoneros manager's presence at the Vicente Calderon, saying everybody connected with the club “loves and respects” him

"He put together an excellent coaching staff as well as a very good playing squad," the Uruguay international told Marca

"He is a coach that demands 100 per cent from you. He really knows how a dressing room should be, and that helps a lot.

"At the club I think he is like a God. Everyone loves and respects him.

"He is a coach that has lifted many trophies as a coach and a trainer. It's like he is untouchable at the club and the people love him."
